Craniotomy

A craniotomy is the surgical removal of a brain tumor. During this procedure, a neurosurgeon will remove part of your skull in order to expose the brain and remove the tumor. The removal is only temporary and will be replaced once the tumor has been removed. This procedure is done in the hospital and the patient will be monitored closely after the surgery.
