James R. Adametz, MD

Dr. James Adametz specializes in Cranial, Lumbar, Cervical and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery.

He is a native of North Little Rock who completed his undergraduate work at Hendrix College. After receiving his medical degree from UAMS in 1982, Dr. Adametz completed an internship and a residency in neurosurgery at UAMS.

Dr. Adametz has over 20 years of experience treating all types of neurological disease and spinal problems including disc surgery, fusion, kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, minimally invasive surgery and injections.

Dr. Adametz is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and has been a part of Neurological Surgery Associates since 1989. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and the American Medical Society. Dr. Adametz has been voted one of “America’s Top Surgeons” in the Guide to America’s Top Surgeons.
